In the last week of November, the TCC group carried out a bird flu culling for the Belgian government. The FAVV has tested a company with 150,000 broilers positive for an H5 variant, probably H5N5.
The TCC group team started work in the morning and euthanised 5 barns in 11 hours. After that, our catching teams started to empty the stables, which was ready in 10 hours. The entire operation was completed within 24 hours. All services such as decontamination (shower) system, cadaver processing, transport, power supply, work clothing, personal protective equipment and catering are carried out by the TCC group.
